Cow Color: Black and White makes Gray
Ms. 405 apparently can't hide her indiscretions with the neighbor bull, a white Charolais bull. Apparently, she stepped out on Big Boy, my black Angus Bull and chose a different suitor! The proof is in the calf, a pretty little well built gray heifer. Apparently, bad fences or motivated fence jumpers make for intimate lovers in the cow world! I know the offspring of a Red Angus bred with a Charolais is called a buckskin, but the combination of Black Angus and Charolais is not known to me. I will need to research further, however, in the grand scheme of things a healthy calf is the most important detail.
